I have noticed that quite a lot of people have been incorrectly saying "I could care less" when they really mean "I couldn't care less". This could cause some major misunderstandings; just imagine: you're talking to a horrendously dull and boring man. You are late for a meeting. You say "I could care less". He earnestly thanks you for finding his story about his socks so fascinating and drones on for the next three days, preventing you from eating, drinking, or micturating.
